Visit the Braulio Carrillo Natioanl Park and Experience the world famous aerial tram in a rain forest environment.
Visit one of the most beautiful beaches on the Central Pacific Coast, Manuel Antonio. Here you could also partake
of other activities such as a nature walk, a horseback ride, a fishing trip, or a sunset sail.
This adventure will also take you to Monterverde, where you will visit one of the most spectacular
Biological Reserves that is home to six distinct forest types, each with it's own separate, yet interwoven
plant and animal life. Enjoy a night tour watching the explosions of the active Arenal Volcano,
visit the Tabacon hot springs and relax in natural pools of mineral water that come from the volcano.
Travel to the world famous Tortuguero National Park where you will have the opportunity to explore the jungle,
search for wild animals and see a green turtle laying her eggs in the black sand beach of the Caribbean.

Day 1 - Arrival in San Jose
Our representative will meet you at the Juan Santamaria International Airport, and you will be transferred
to your hotel. Meals are not included on day one. Lodging at Bougainvillea hotel or similar.

Day 2 - San Jose / Aerial Tram.
In the morning after breakfast, we will pick you up at your
hotel for a scenic morning drive through
Braulio Carrillo National Park. Look for cascading
waterfalls.Next a thrilling adventure into the heart
of the rainforest. Glide through the jungle canopy on the world famous rainforest aerial tram.
After Lunch we will return to the center of
the city where you will tour the Central Plaza the National Museum
and the National Theater. Return to your hotel for dinner
and overnight. Lodging at Hotel Bougainvillea (or similar).

Day 3 - San Jose / Quepos / Manuel Antonio.
In the early morning you will be transported to Tobias Bolaños Airport in Pavas for a direct flight to Quepos
on the Pacific Coast. Once you arrive, you will be transferred to your hotel in Manuel Antonio.
After breakfast enjoy a guided tour to the National Park, one of the most beautiful seascapes of Costa Rica.
Following lunch, you may want to enjoy the beach and relax at this beautiful location. Afternoon at leisure.
Dinner and overnight at the Si Como No Hotel or similar.

Day 4 - Quepos / Manuel Antonio.
Today there will be a tour to the Rainmaker, After breakfast you can walk on well-groomed interpretive trails
along cascading water falls in primary rain forest. At the summit of this 1,500-acre private forest,
you will have an opportunity to swim in a pristine waterfall pool or just relax and take some special photographs.
Come back in time for lunch. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy your resort..
Dinner & overnight at the Si Como No Hotel.

Day 5 - Manuel Antonio / Monteverde.
After breakfast we will continue our adventure by driving in the Pacific lowlands toward Monteverde.
After arrival and hotel check-in prepare for lunch and a siesta, next you will visit the cheese factory,
famous throughout Costa Rica for quality cheese; the local coffee mill, where you can purchase the best
Costa Rican coffee; the CASEM Gift Shop, an artisan's cooperative featuring hand made local work
with nature themes; and the Hummingbird Gallery, where feeders attract a wide variety of hummingbirds in
overwhelming numbers. Return to your hotel for dinner. Lodging at Fonda Vela Hotel or similar.

Day 6 - Monteverde.
After breakfast, you can experience the exciting sky track or sky walk (optional for $55).
The sky track adventure is a system of three platforms suspended above the ground in the midst of the forest canopy.
Zip lines attached from one platform to another allow you to slide with the use of special equipment.
The sky walk is a network of suspension bridges and trails built within the Monteverde cloud forest.
It allows different observational levels to admire the flora and fauna starting at the forest ground and ending
at the tree tops. It consists in seven suspension bridges, the highest being 46 meters (150ft) and the longest
being 300 meters (984ft). You will able to observe and appreciate a tropical forest from different vantage points,
return for lunch, free afternoon for optional activities. We will go out for dinner,

Day 7 - Monteverde / Arenal.
After breakfast we will continue to one of the Costa Rica's most scenic spots, Arenal Volcano.
It is famous for its lava flows. We will stop for lunch at Tramonty Restaurant in Nuevo Arenal and then
we will continue driving to Lake Arenal. Check in your Hotel, following dinner and weather permitting,
prepare for a night tour to view the volcanic activities. Lodging at Montaña de Fuego or similar.

Day 8 - Arenal.
After breakfast get ready to enjoy a bath in the Tabacon Resort natural hot springs, mineral water pools
and waterfalls that originate from the volcano. You may want to relax in the pools for the rest of the day.
Lunch will be at Tabacon Resort. We'll go out for dinner. Overnight at Montaña de Fuego.

Day 9 - Arenal/ Tortuguero.
After breakfast we will travel to Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui and continue to the port of Caño Blanco.
Here we will transfer to a boat especially designed to travel through the canals. Sit back, relax and marvel
at the natural surroundings. Next, check in at your lodge in time for lunch and a siesta. In the afternoon
you will tour the Caribbean Conservation Corporation's Visitor's Center. Return to the lodge for dinner.
Lodging at Iguana Verde or similar. From July to September there is an optional tour at night where you can watch
a green sea turtle lay her eggs on the black sand beach (additional for $10).

Day 10 - Tortuguero Caños and Lagoons.
After breakfast we will tour the caños and lagoons of the Tortuguero National Park to search for wild animals
and get in deep contact with nature. You will be able to see monkeys, toucans, caimans and if you are lucky
you may see the manatee which is the biggest mammal that lives in the ocean but, who comes to the river
to look for food. Return for lunch, free afternoon for desired activities such as: fishing, canoeing,
hydro biking, shopping, etc. Dinner and overnight at iguana Verde or similar.

Day 11 - Tortuguero / Caño Blanco / San Jose.
After breakfast, you will board a boat for the 11/2 hour return trip to the port of Caño Blanco.
A bus will be waiting for you there to take you back to San José. We will stop for lunch on route to Guapiles,
then we will continue driving through the spectacular Braulio Carrillo National Park.
This Park is a combination of rain and cloud forest that has over 6,500 species of plants and animals and
innumerable rivers and waterfalls. Upon arrival in San Jose, you will be driven to your hotel,
where you will have time to rest and freshen up.
We will come back to pick you up at 7:00 pm for farewell dinner and celebration

Day 12 - San Jose / Juan Santamaria International Airport.
Your tour package includes return transportation to the international airport, or you may choose to stay longer
and enjoy a few more days in Costa Rica.
