| On this tour you will visit Coffee Britt Farm in the Province of Heredia for a further understanding of our coffee history, evolution and tasting. You will also visit Poas Volcano in Alajuela, where you can hike through a cloud forest. You will also have the opportunity to visit La Selva rainforest, continuing to the Sarapiqui River on the Atlantic Coast. We will then travel to Arenal Volcano where we may see the impressive lava flow light up the slopes at night. You will have time to relax in the hot springs and mineral baths after we visit Lake Arenal. Traveling on to Guanacaste Province in the Northwest of Costa Rica, we will visit Rincon de la Vieja National Park where we will hike to thermal springs. Then it is off to one of Costa Rica's loveliest beaches, Tamarindo on the Pacific coast. There you can enjoy a wealth of activities such as sport fishing, horseback riding, a sunset cruise, diving, snorkeling, a canopy tour, or surfing. We wind up our trip with an exciting white water rafting trip down the Pacuare River. Throughout our excursion you will see different ecosystems and the abundant wildlife that inhabit this beautiful country. | |

Day 1 - Arrival in San Jose Our representative will meet you at the Juan Santamaria International Airport and you will be transported to your hotel. Upon your arrival, there will be an orientation to Costa Rica and further information about your exciting activities. Lodging at Hotel Residencias del Golf or similar. |

Day 2 - San Jose.
 In the morning after breakfast you will visit Coffee Britt Farm in the Province of Heredia for a further understanding of our coffee history, evolution and tasting. After lunch, you will have a San Jose City tour where you will visit the National Museum, the National Theater, and the Culture Square. Return for dinner. Lodging at Hotel San José Palacio. |

Day 3 - Poas Volcano / La Selva / Sarapiqui River. After breakfast your tour guide will pick you up for a wonderful adventure-filled day of touring. Our day will begin with a drive to Poas volcano, on the way to the summit you will travel past country towns, highland forest and fern & flower plantations. You will also have the opportunity to stop at a coffee plantation to learn more about this important Costa Rican agricultural crop.
After Lunch we will continue our adventure driving to the Caribbean where you will experience an entirely different world of warm tropical weather and vegetation. We will drive past colorful little towns, pineapple fields, cacao and banana plantations. Next check in at Selva Verde one of the most beautiful jungle lodges in Costa Rica.. It is surrounded by colorful gardens, and you will have the chance to walk through the rainforest trails. Following lunch you will board a comfortable covered boat, and enjoy a jungle cruise. Gently float down the beautiful Sarapiqui River on the lookout for iguanas, monkeys, crocodiles, slots, turtles, and colorful birds and experience the impressive biological diversity of the rainforest that thrives along the banks of the river. You will also get a glimpse of the way of life of the Costa Ricans in this remote area near Nicaraguan border. Return to La Selva Lodge for dinner and overnight. |

Day 4 - La Selva / Arenal Volcano. In the morning after breakfast, you will travel with your guide approximately 2 hours to Arenal Volcano, famous for its lava flows. At the picturesque town of La Fortuna, we will stop to look at the volcano, and then continue our drive north around Lake Arenal. Lunch and check-in at your hotel. After lunch you will travel to the Tabacon Resort hot springs for a bath in mineral waters from the volcano. You will be able to spend the rest of the day here just relaxing in the pools. Later you will enjoy a buffet style dinner, and weather permitting, have a night tour to view the volcanic activities. Return to your hotel. Lodging at Montaña de Fuego or Similar. |

Day 5 - Arenal/ Rincon de la Vieja in Guanacaste. In the morning after breakfast, you will be transported to Liberia, Guanacaste. Before getting to the center of the city, we will drive to the village of Currubande and Rincon de la Vieja National Park. Next Check in your Hotel in this area and the next challenge will be a 3-hour hike in this area. Here you will enjoy Las Pailas, 125-acres of geysers, hot springs and mud pots originating from the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. After midday we will leave Las Pailas and drive to the hotel where we will have lunch and a afternoon to rest and relax. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Las Pailas Mountain Lodge or similar. |

Day 6 - Tamarindo Beach. After breakfast we will drive to Tamarindo beach, where you will have a day and a half for optional activities such as; sport fishing, horseback riding, diving, snorkeling or you may prefer to relax on the beach. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Cala Luna. Day 7 - Tamarindo Beach. |

Day 8 - Tamarindo San Jose. After breakfast we will return to San José. Enjoy lunch on the way and arrive to your Hotel in time for a siesta. At 7:00 p.m we will come to pick you up for farewell dinner and celebration. |

Day 9 - Arenal/ Tortuguero. Your tour package includes return transportation to the international airport, or you may choose to stay longer and enjoy a few more days in Costa Rica. |

On the cool 8,600 ft. summit,
we will visit Poas Volcano and
Visitor's Interpretive Center. The impressive active volcano which occasionally
vents has a crater lake 1,000 ft. deep by 5,000 ft. wide. You can also hike through tropical ferns and cloud
